How Your Data Is Used

Horatio processes all data locally on your device. No data is transmitted to external servers. The app works completely offline after initial content pack downloads.

Reading preferences (font size, theme, selected calendar) are stored in local app storage and never transmitted.
Content packs (.htx files) are stored locally in the app's private directory.
Full-text search uses a local SQLite FTS5 index on your device.

Third-Party Services

Horatio does not use any third-party services that collect data:

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit any personal data to third parties. All data remains on your device.

Data Retention
